Nowadays the service is run by Brointermed Srl, based in Italy – Genoa, in a new guise, with a new system, mainly concentrated to Marsa el Brega port, with an express service from La Spezia, granting regular departures every 40 days and short transit time.
Brointermed employs logistic platforms of Harwich (UK), Antwerp (Belgium), Bremen (Germany), where the cargo is concentrated and then moved via truck/trailer and intermodal services to La Spezia, where it is loaded on the express service.
Overseas connections grant a fast and efficient feeder service to cover our main destinations from worldwide.
Brointermed operates the service through the management of the Hugo Trumpy Group of Genoa, and benefits of a competent network based on owned offices and Hugo Trumpy branches, including Libya, where HT Group is the agent of the Line.
During the years, Brointermed developed a network of container and packing stations in all the main ports, allowing the Company to meet the requirements of the main exporters supplying the oil industry.
